Do you offer a pre-wedding portrait shoot?

Yes, COUPLE PORTRAIT shoots are incredibly important, they help to build trust between you as a couple and myself as your photographer. The forged connection will help to tell your unique story.

What location is best for our couple portrait shoot?

If possible it should be a location that is important to you as a couple. However I am happy to offer location suggestions or research amazing backdrops best suited to your unique spirit as a couple.

Do you provide two photographers for your wedding coverage?

Ela Wilkinson Photography provide two photographers automatically as a standard inclusion. As a husband and wife team, you will have the two of us capturing your day. Two photographers can divide and document considerably more in order to best tell your story. Logistically, as a team we have the ability to capture different events at different locations. When events are happening simultaneously, all precious moments are covered.

Do you offer a post-wedding portrait shoot?

Yes, I offer a 'fine art' styled portrait shoot, concentrating on your relationship and all that is unique about you as a couple.

What is a first look portrait shoot?

It is where a couple make plans to see each other for the first time in their wedding attire before the ceremony. Whereby I will document the love and emotion of this unique moment. However for traditionalists, the first look will be when you walk down the aisle.

Should I opt for a hair & makeup artist for my shoot?

I strongly suggest that you do opt for a hair and makeup artist. She will help to portray the best you. Having the skillset to ensure that your makeup translates well in camera. Creating flawless imagery.

Are you insured?

I have three types of insurance; my equipment is insured, I have public liability which is essential for most venues, and professional indemnity insurance which insures against loss or photographic failure. I also take every precaution to ensure all images are backed up securely.

Who owns the copyright?

You have the rights to use your images for personal use only, not for business or financial gain. So long as its for personal use you are free to do as you wish with your images including social networking. You have full printing rights. The legal copyright is always held by Ela Wilkinson Photography.
