TIMELINE TIPS

  • Be realistic and adjust your expectations accordingly.
  • Work methodically through the timeline.
  • Plan for unforeseen events.
  • Allow a little extra for each step of the day.
  • Determine travel time between venues and factor in.
  • Allot time as a couple alone with your photographer.
  • Take into consideration the time of day and the time of year. Without doubt, the available natural light may be affected.
  • Establish what time and position the sunset will take place.
  • If possible allocate time for portraits in the beautiful golden hour light.
  • Discuss together as a couple which events are important to you both. Thus, base your timings accordingly.
  • Above all, are there any events that may be illuminated? Therefore, allowing more time to those that matter more.
  • Because, subtle adjustments can make a big positive difference.
  • Condense your family portraits as much as you both feel possible.
  • Since, most often it is the family portraits that overrun affecting the rest of your timeline.
  • Certainly, have a member of the bridal party in charge of the shot list.
